进入维州工地工作需要有五张卡，通常称为工地五卡，接下来我们一个个来讲解。
1. Union Card（工会卡）
加入工会从而保障自己的工资，以及获得免费的个人意外保险和法律咨询服务。维州的工会名称是CFMEU Construction。
办理费用：$515
2. Construction Induction Training (White Card)
澳洲法律规定所有进入建筑工地的工作人员都必须持有白卡，白卡是用来证明相关建筑工作人员具备必要的安全常识的执照。Owner-Builder也需要持有白卡。
这里特别要注意的是，在网上完成的便宜自学的白卡课程大多都是其它州的WorkSafe部门出具的，不受到维州WorkSafe的认可。持有其它州白卡的人员可能无法进入维州的大型建筑工地进行工作。
