什么是登高机或者升降工作平台
在澳洲，很多人工作会需要用到升降工作平台。英文名字叫Elevating Work Platform或者EWP。EWP有很多种。在澳洲的职业学习当中，我们一般会用到两大类的EWP：
垂直升降式的EWP，
吊杆式的EWP。
不同的EWP也有不同的驱动方式和最大作业高度。11米以上的吊杆式EWP属于高风险工作范围，我们将在以后的博客中详细介绍。在这起的博客中， 我们会具体介绍11米以下的EWP。
常见的垂直升降式的EWP有剪刀式升降机和垂直升降机。或者英文叫scissor lift和vertical lift。
常见的吊杆式升降机英文叫boom lift。
EWP的安全和培训要求
这些所有的EWP被运用在不同场景的工作当中。按各州的worksafe 的规定， 所有在工作场所中使用EWP的人员，必须完成相应的职业培训。
在工作当中使用EWP的人员必须持有有效的全澳认证的培训成绩单（statement of attainment）。
人员需要完成的学习单元是：CPCCCM3001 - Operate elevated work platforms up to 11 metres。
